A racehorse is under the care and training from Race horse trainers. The job of a racehorse trainer is a package of several activities, this includes; exercising and training program, general horse management and making the horse get acquainted to human handling and making the horse friendly. The services are professional and experience is paramount.

Professional trainer is in charge of a racehorse; this is a determination from the animal quality, experience, specialization and the uniqueness of the animal. The provider must render above average services. The trainer has the discretion to select the race, that the horse is best suited. Horse coaches earn handsomely from consultation and from races won.

A famous racehorses trainer working with a training company shared her working typical day as follows; she reported to work by half past six in the morning, she goes ahead to mucking off her five racing horses. By seven oclock in the morning they are aware of which horses they will be riding. The horse will have between one and three canters, which will be defined by the training rating of the individual horse. The morning stable is done by noon and resumes at three in the evening. The evening part comprises of mucking the horses, giving hays, grooming of the individual horse and finally the evening feeding is done by half past six in the evening.

This job requires no formal training, but this applies to over nineteen years. A diploma level two, it is a requirement to be admitted in school to be allowed to practice in this fun filled sector. A basic knowledge of riding horse is not equivalent to racehorse expertise; the difference is on the technicalities, rules and professionalism aspect. The job requires teamwork oriented trainer but must appreciate the individual experience to enable fast decision making during critical hours. The trainer must be passion driven and dedicated to cope with the particular job requirement. This is necessary in long hours working and weekend calls.

The coach is faced with a number of job risks, apart from the glittering and fun face of this job. This includes, Low earning in dollars per year as has been pointed by the Bureau of Labor statistics, and the bureau found the earning to range between sixteen thousand dollars and fifty-three US dollars. The sector is lowly ranked when compared with other economy sectors.

Secondly, the job is physically taxing; the job is muscular, from bending, climbing, riding on a horse bark, the running thrill. The horse tutor is tasked with feeding, cleanliness program and grooming of all the horses under their care. This is usually a source of fatigue and why this job is termed as physically demanding.

This job makes the race horse trainer vulnerable to injuries. A horse is sometimes aggressive or defiant animal. The trainer may get a bite, vulnerable to the electric kicks, or being stepped on. This job has been rated to be prone to injuries and death as compared to other jobs in related contexts. A tired horse, ill or a horse on heat is hard to handle.

A racehorse training is a challenging assignment, this made harder and daunting when handling mishandled or injured horse. They are usually unresponsive to commands. This calls for high creativity, carefulness and patience. The horses are slow, defiant and unpredictable animals.
