Becoming a good therapist will require you to start working as soon as possible and earning yourself a good reputation. You can do so if you just submit an application for it. In doing the interview, you must maintain your presence of mind. It is imperative that you listen to the questions asked as carefully as you can and then answer them thoroughly. Avoid stumbling over your words as well as using conversational slangs. These are forbidden in business conversations. Be confident with your answers too.

You might be asked by the interviewer to speak more about yourself. In such a case, what you have to do is give an answer about your personality trait and background info. These should be info that can establish yourself in the field. You should use this chance to build your qualifications for this position.

Another question asked from you would be regarding your strengths as well as weaknesses. When it comes to strengths, there should be no problems in answering at least three. If it is the other one, then avoid doing a character assassination. Instead, you should prepare a few quasi-strength you can disguise as your weakness.

You might also be asked what you want to be doing in the next five years. If you want to become a lawyer within five years and you are just using this job as a temporary one, you might want to keep that to yourself. Instead, you should imagine a future where you are holding down a position where your PT job is useful.

Work successes can be really helpful during the interview. That is why it is highly required of you to prepare these work successes. You will retell this to the interviewers. The stories you tell will give the employer a better insight on how you deal with stress and particular challenges, especially for the work.

Encountering confrontational interviews should not be a rare thing. You must not let this confrontational interviews get to you. Even if you are shocked inside, act as if there is nothing unusual happening. You must remain cool and maintain your professional demeanor. The confrontational interviews are meant to weed out candidates unable to deal with confrontation and pressure.
